Masjid Al-Islam would like to inform everyone that due to Hurricane Irene; Masjid has no power and electricity as of yet and there is no water.

Please make Wudhu at home and have your children use the bathroom at home before coming to the Masjid.

Bathrooms are out of order at the Masjid for tomorrow.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

MASJID AL-ISLAM SUMMER CAMP 2011

It’s summer camp time at Masjid Al-Islam again! Insha-Allah the camp will run for 5 weeks this year from June 27- July 28, kids ages 3-13 are welcome. Field trips, baking days, arts and crafts will be just some of the fun campers will experience. Please refer to the camp calendar to view our schedule. This years camp theme is “Prophets of Allah”, campers will learn about different Prophets (AS) along with prayers insha-Allah. Something new this year will be our camp garden! Campers will learn a little about gardening as they will get to plant and maintain flowers in our garden.

Camp fee this year is $125 per child. If you prefer your child to come on certain days then it is $6.25 a day with field trips being a little more. Masjid Al-Islam Blood Drive!

Please join us on Friday, February 4th at Masjid Al-Islam for their next blood drive. The blood drive will run from 4:30pm-7:30pm on the Bloodmobile.

Remember, each donation can help save three lives. The Rhode Island Blood Center needs to collect up to 280 pints of blood every single day to meet the needs of area hospitals. This blood is used to treat cancer patients, burn victims, accident victims, major surgery patients, and more.

Please roll up your sleeve and give the gift of life!
